Cookies are small files that a website can place on your device. Websites can also use local storage and session storage in your browser. These technologies can support security, remember preferences, maintain a session and help understand how a website is used.
This policy describes the technologies used by the current Injurease website. It should be reviewed whenever analytics, advertising, embedded media or other third-party services are added.
Technologies currently used
- Essential WordPress cookies may be used for website administration, authentication, security and core platform functions.
- Session storage creates a temporary random session identifier for limited first-party interaction analytics and form measurement. The identifier is converted to a one-way hash on the server.
- Session storage may retain UTM campaign parameters during the browser session so an enquiry can be attributed to its source.
- Local storage may remember that you dismissed a website announcement.
- Form security tokens and technical request information help prevent misuse and protect form submissions.
Limited first-party analytics
When enabled, Injurease records limited events such as a form view, form start, form submission, telephone click, email click or Book an Assessment click. Records can include the page, event type, a hashed session identifier, environment and a general action label. This system is designed to avoid storing the raw session identifier in analytics records.
Website forms may also record the page, referral source, UTM campaign values, a hashed network identifier and browser information for security, attribution and enquiry management.
Third-party analytics and advertising
The current Injurease build does not require third-party advertising pixels to provide its core functionality. If Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, embedded maps, videos, chat tools or similar third-party technologies are activated later, this policy and the consent controls should be updated before activation. Sensitive health information must not be sent to advertising platforms without a lawful basis and any consent required by Australian privacy law.
Your choices
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential technologies may affect website administration, forms, security or saved preferences. Closing the browser normally clears session storage; local storage remains until it is deleted or the website removes it.
Browser controls vary by provider. Consult your browser help settings for instructions. Where non-essential third-party tracking is introduced, Injurease should provide any additional notice or consent choice required for that technology.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when website technology changes. Questions about cookies, analytics or privacy can be sent to info@injurease.com.au.
