Can I use Telehealth?
Telehealth is available to any location in Australia for all GP services where clinically appropriate. An initial assessment can be completed via Telehealth, although face-to-face assessment is preferred, and the clinic tries to have patients attend physically at least once a month.
Can Injurease arrange specialist or allied health referrals?
Where clinically appropriate, your GP can recommend and coordinate referrals to relevant allied health professionals or medical specialists.
Can you help with paperwork and approvals?
Injurease provides administrative claim support related to medical care, including certificates, referrals, appointments and follow-up of treatment approvals where applicable.
Do I need a claim number before booking?
Not always. Contact our team and explain your situation. We can advise what information to bring and what claim-related details may be needed for your appointment.
Do you communicate with my employer or insurer?
Where relevant to your care and with the appropriate authority or consent, Injurease may communicate clinical and recovery information with authorised stakeholders.
Do you provide Certificates of Capacity?
For workplace injury claims, the treating doctor can complete a SIRA Certificate of Capacity where clinically appropriate and required.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. Injurease provides medical care and administrative claim support. For legal advice, patients should speak with a qualified legal professional.
Is Injurease a general GP clinic?
Injurease is positioned as a specialised injury recovery and occupational health clinic, with a strong focus on workplace injuries, WorkCover, CTP motor vehicle accident recovery and related occupational health services.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring photo identification, relevant claim or insurer details if available, previous medical reports or imaging, medication information and any documents relating to your injury or work capacity.
